Different Pain Types at Coccygodynia and its Relation with Vitamin D Level

Background; Coccygodynia is a musculoskeletal disease that affects quality of life. The main complaint coccygodynia nociceptive and/or neuropathic pain. Vitamin D deficiency has been associated with the development pain in various diseases. 
 Aims; In this study we aimed investigate types (nociceptive, neuropathic, mixed) and relationship between level patients coccygodynia. Study design; Observational study
 Materials Methods; A total 54 diagnosed were included. Pain intensity, disablity type evaluated by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), PainDETECT questionnaire, respectively. All participants had their vitamin levels measured. Results; Neuropathic was detected 27.8% determined to be insufficient or deficient 81.5% patients. statistical significant correlation found prolongation increased ODI values (p<0.05). show statistically similar distribution nociceptive, mixed type, groups (p=0.532).
